About Us

This is love:
not that we loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son as an atoning sacrifice for our sins.

1 John 4:10

Greetings in the name of Christ Jesus our Lord!
Welcome to the St. Mark Lutheran website. We hope it is helpful to describe our ministry at St. Mark. We also pray that it impress you with the eternal truths of God.

Our purpose as a church is two-fold. First, we aim to provide Christians with spiritual nourishment. Members of St. Mark grow and mature through a lifelong study of God’s Word and diligent use of the sacraments. Christian fellowship also plays an important role as we praise God together and confess our faith together in worship.

Second, we strive to make disciples of Jesus Christ, our Savior from sin and death. St. Mark exists to seize every opportunity to proclaim the love of Jesus to lost souls in our community and throughout the world.

May the love of God, which transcends all understanding, strengthen and preserve you for this life and the next. Have a blessed day!
